Detective Ember Manning must figure out the connection between a fire at a holiday home, a podcast journalist investigating a missing person's cold case, and an illicit love triangle between a man in his 20s and two underage girls.

E01 · Episode 1
A year on from her husband's death, new detective Ember Manning is called to an arson attack. The investigation that follows brings Ember into contact with an underage pregnant girl, who Ember suspects has been seeing an older man. When a true crime podcaster, in town to investigate a cold missing persons case, tells Ember that the older man is actually a serial predator, Ember finds herself reflecting upon the age difference between her and her late husband.

E02 · Episode 2
Still reeling from her shocking discovery, Ember is desperate to find out what Riz knows about the Amy Knightly case. They begin to share information, and Ember tells Riz her suspicions about the identity of Miranda's abuser. Ember is horrified when she is told that the lake is to be searched for Amy's remains. When Riz stops returning Ember's calls, Ember suspects that it is because she has uncovered the terrible truth about what happened to Amy.

E03 · Episode 3
Reeling from the discovery of a body in the lake, Ember wrestles with the emerging truth about Mack. As the walls close in on her, Ember finds herself reaching breaking point.

E04 · Episode 4
Determined to protect Hannah, Ember must face up to the possibility that she might have been married to a murderer, amidst the search to finally uncover the truth of what happened to Amy.
